Days of Prayer and Fasting

Days of Prayer and Fasting

28th January 2010

From the earliest days of Newfrontiers in the UK we have gathered our pastors and leaders (and as many wives as can make it) three times a year to pray and fast. Initially each event lasted three days and concluded with a meal. For some years now it has been a two-day event with no meal. We started with about 30. Now about 750 gather.

Prayer and Prophecy

3rd February 2009

Regular, three times a year, days of prayer and fasting have played a key role in the lives of elders and leaders of Newfrontiers churches in the UK for about 30 years. From the earliest years, when about 35 of us gathered, right through to the present when 6-700 gather, we have repeatedly sensed God’s powerful presence as we have prayed together.

Prayer and fasting days

Prayer and fasting days

12th February 2008

Once again last week’s Newfrontiers leaders’ days of prayer and fasting were truly memorable as hundreds gathered to seek God. For me the highlight was the awesome word brought to us by Neville Jones from CCK, Brighton, who with remarkable authority and anointing spoke of an underground lake of blessing that is growing inexorably with inevitable blessing that’s going to break out. My faith, along with many others, soared with real joy and anticipation.
