6 | Paul and the churches are very much in a prayer relationship.
5 | Paul says in Corinthians, ‘I will pray with the mind, I will also pray with the Spirit. I will pray with the understanding, I will also pray with the Spirit.’
4 | Many of us will say, well I don’t know how to pray. I get turned off prayer. I find prayer difficult. I lose concentration.

2 | Prayer is not just painted in one colour. A whole rainbow of ways are presented. Let’s first look at some of the ways in which we can pray by ourselves.
1 | Paul ends his subject of warfare with ‘Finally, praying…’ The verb used is in present continuous form. Paul takes more time referring to prayer, more time looking at this than any one of the pieces of armour. ‘Praying,’ he says, ‘at all times.’
