Christmas was absolutely delightful for the Virgo household. On Saturday 22nd December Simon, our third son, married Caroline Green at Canterbury. The sun shone, the wind dropped, the rain held off, the temperature rose a few degrees and we were delighted that we were able to have photographs in the sunshine.

Longings for revival
As the New Year has started I have set myself to re-read Arthur Wallis’s great book In the Day of Thy Power and stumbled upon this quote: ‘(Revival) is the result of a divine not a human impulse. In language plain to all, it cannot be “worked up”.
Days of prayer and fasting
In the 1970s I invited the pastors with whom I worked in churches across the UK to gather with me for some days of prayer and fasting. This was before the title Newfrontiers was impressed upon us. We decided to meet to pray and fast three times a year.
