Long Story Short
by Marty Machowski

One of my most treasured memories of fathering a family and raising children was our breakfast time together when we opened the Bible and spent time looking at the many stories we find there.

Long Story Short by Marty Machowski, a pastor from CJ Mahaney’s Sovereign Grace Ministries, is a fascinating and refreshing approach to Scripture and one which would lead, I am sure, to a lot of joy and happy memories for your children as well as genuinely helpful instruction to root their lives into Bible truth.

It is sub-headed ‘Ten-minute devotions to draw your family to God’. We all live very busy lives and snatching time at, for instance, your breakfast table can be very challenging as children have to rush off to school. But a daily ten-minute visit to the Scripture in a way that fascinates and draws them is a genuine treasure trove.

Marty Machowski’s book will provide you with the kind of guidelines that you have been looking for, whether you use it at the morning breakfast table or perhaps in the evening with your children. I wholeheartedly recommend it to you.
