Greetings from Sydney, Australia
Greetings from Sydney, Australia where spring is gradually yielding to summer sunshine.
Last week Steve Brading and I flew to Brisbane where we were met at the airport by Brian, a member of our Brisbane church plant. He told me a truly fascinating story.
Some years ago he had obtained a copy of a tape on God’s Grace by a certain Terry Virgo. He had obtained it from the Anaheim Vineyard where I had responded to John Wimber’s invitation to give a teaching series on Grace. Brian had played the tape so many times that it was virtually worn out. He had also lent it to many friends. He then tried to replace it but found that Anaheim Vineyard had no copies. They, however, referred him to Newfrontiers, who gladly supplied another copy.
He then searched our website and found to his delight that Newfrontiers were now in Australia, and not only were they in Australia but they had now actually started a church plant in Brisbane, and not only in Brisbane but in the home of Craig and Sue Cosijn. He went and made himself known and is now a key member of the church, indeed often preaching there.
I never cease to be amazed how God’s hand is upon us across the nations to fulfil His purpose.
